August 10, 2010

Well lets see what I have to blog about today....

The negatives of the day: Moms washer broke... interestingly enough that's the only negative of the day! :)

And now the positives of the day: Koy came home tonight from his training in Des Moines, positive number two would be that a friend has a washer to give to my mom... WooHoo!!! Positive number three is that I once again survived this horrendous heat. Positive number four is of course the everyday things of life. Lets see number five would be that work went well today and lastly but not least number six is that today I was in an exceptionally good mood.

My random thought just now (well maybe not so random as it is about what I am doing, lol): blogger should have smiley faces.... I mean what fun is to blog without any smileys and should have more font choices :(  eh oh well maybe in the future.

Well that's all for tonight.

One last thought: "It's not what you achieve in life that counts, it's what you overcome." I LoVe this quote!

Well everyone have a great rest of the night.

Blog of the day

So when I first decided to blog I thought long and hard about what I wanted to blog about. There are so many things one could type about, its almost impossible to decide on just one thing. I, however, think I have figured out what that one thing will be. I will blog about the positives and the negatives of each day  because I believe no matter how horrible the day has been or how wrong things have gone there is always a positive side to everything!!!

So today's blog: 8/9/10

Lets see, we'll start with the negatives- first would be that my husband left for a training in Lincoln and will be there overnight, not to come home until about 8:00 p.m. tomorrow night :-(. Second negative of the day would be that the elephants who live above me will not shut up and are noisy 24/7.  I actually think that might be the only negatives of the day.... that's very promising :-)

Okay now for the positives: first would be that I am alive and well! Second would be that I had a wonderful dinner at home with wonderful people. Third would be that I got some scrapbooking time in (one of my very favorite past times). Um..... fourth would be the every day things in life that some are not as fortunate to have, this would include having a job, a roof over my head, food on the table, a car to get me from point A to point B, money to survive off of, a bed to sleep in and a place to call home... oh there's so many more but I could be here all night listing them so from now on I will refer to them as "the everyday things in life." Okay now on to number five which I'd say would have to be that I survived the tremendous heat we had today.

Well I think that's all for tonight but one last thought for the night:

"Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything" and this my friends I think is a great last thought as this applies to literally everything!

Everyone have a great night!
